The majority of this help file applies equally to the ELPO but this section describes the areas where the ELPO version differs to the traditional Farriers Manager version.

The ELPO version comes in 2 versions, Standard and Professional. Both versions contain the specific ELPO features such as electronic charting and data transmission. The Professional version in all other respects is identical to the traditional Farriers Manager. Standard does not contain invoicing or scheduling as it concentrates on the gathering, recording and transmission of hoof data. Clients can convert from Standard to Professional at any time by simply purchasing the upgrade key, retaining all previously entered information.

The ELPO version differs in the main respect when it comes to the recording of the hoof history. Therefore this topic will explain what happens when you click on the CHARTS button on the View/Edit Horse windows.

When the system is installed for the first time you are asked for your ELPO registration number. If that was not entered we do suggest that you open your Farrier record from the top toolbar, edit your record and enter your Registration Number as this may become a mandatory requirement at a future date.
