Find

Find is a powerful facility that allows you to search for any record or group of records according to some criteria you enter. An obvious task would be to find a client with a particular name. However there may be times when all you can recall is part of a name, phone number, address or some note.

This facility allows you to do that, so when we say "enter a name" we really mean a name or part of a name, or something that you know is there.

Clicking this button on the toolbar allows you to Find specific clients quickly as shown below:-

In the above example, the "What to look for" box has been completed with "Sally" and so the system has selected all those clients with the name John. If we had ticked one of the radio buttons then the system would have checked those items and shown the appropriate list of names on the left hand side of the screen.
