History Abbreviations

By clicking on Preferences on the top toolbar followed by Settings/Charts and selecting History Abbreviations you are able to setup abbreviations that you use frequently when creating a horse history.

The system comes with a set of records which can be used as shortcuts or supplementary values to describe the history.

Each record can have a code associated with it or not according to choice. If a code is present, then when printed, the code is also printed (as shown).

This allows flexibility in reporting the history. You may wish to say something like "the horse appears to show signs of Dropping Feed" OR the horse (DF) with the latter using the code as a shortcut. When printed, the reference (DF) is clearly listed.

Codes can be any length or character although we recommend no more than 3 characters or numbers.
