This topic describes the setup procedure using 2 machines as an example
You must follow these instructions step by step and recommend you print these out for future reference as the help file might not always be available at certain stages of the setup procedure.
By way of a summary however these are the steps required to setup Multi User:
1. Read and understand fully this help file. If not then your task will be difficult. 2. Sketch out your setup in terms of machines to be used and identify a Master User. 3. Create an email address and mailbox for each machine. 4. Purchase a new registration key for the number of machines to be registered and enter that into every machine. 5. Activate Multi User in Preferences. 6. Set up the Master site. 7. Convert your data. 8. Assign Clients and Contacts to each new site. 9. Copy the data to the new site machines. 10. Setup the transportation settings for the new site. 11. Run Multi User and test. |
